This cost-effective solution replaces expensive Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), reducing deployment time by 75% and offering significant savings.
The deployment leveraged Multiple Operator Core Network (MOCN) technology to integrate public carrier services with Meta's private network infrastructure. Testing by each operator ensured compatibility, including for emergency services like 911. While Meta didn’t disclose vendors or specific savings figures, executives confirmed improved performance and coverage across all buildings.
This initiative reflects Meta’s long-standing investment in connectivity innovation.
